Qualifications

• Formal, informal, and cross-disciplinary experiences in volunteer management.
• Experience recruiting, coaching, and supervising volunteers is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred.
• Experience with a volunteer database management system (Volgistics preferred).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive to multiple offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Volunteer Recruitment and Marketing: develop and implement comprehensive recruitment and engagement strategies; build partnerships to increase volunteer opportunities.
• Volunteer Onboarding and Training: ensure positive onboarding; utilize online orientation; determine additional training and resources.
• Volunteer Supervision: supervise, lead, coach volunteers; assign tasks based on skills; conduct performance evaluations.
• Volunteer Engagement and Recognition: organize appreciation events; maintain regular communication with volunteers; promote impact.
• Program Management & Impact: track volunteer records with Volgistics; generate reports; ensure policy compliance and up-to-date materials.
