Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Volunteer Program Senior Coordinator for Volunteer Services at The James. The role oversees daily coordination and training for adult and college volunteer programs across multiple facilities and satellite locations.

You will support program development, organize recognition events, and lead recruitment efforts to engage volunteers in the Medical Center and the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related area.
• Master's degree in health care preferred.
• Minimum 4 years professional experience in health care or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and train all new volunteers and ensure coverage.
• Monitor and support existing volunteer programs; plan and develop new programs.
• Lead promotion and recruitment of volunteers within Medical Center and community.
• Organize recognition events and volunteer appreciation activities.
• Visit outpatient locations to shadow volunteers, meet site contacts, and deliver items.
