Job summary

Central City Concern in Portland seeks a Community Service Liaison to bridge clients, community partners, and volunteer opportunities across the metro area. You will lead client volunteer teams, develop partnerships, and create pathways for growth and engagement within CCC's outpatient treatment and housing programs.

The role blends hands-on leadership with relationship-building, offering coaching and support to help participants gain confidence, skills, and community connections while advancing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals in recovery.
• Community Volunteer Corp program graduate preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard computer programs.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of volunteers on pre-determined projects.
• Provide constructive feedback to volunteers in regard to performance.
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with volunteers, partners and the community.
• Transport volunteers to and from worksites and maintain (non-mechanical) van.
• Provide program administrative support.
• Assist in the recruitment and placement of volunteers.
• Attend relevant CCC meetings and trainings.
• Assess and address CVC program needs and concerns in a timely fashion.
• Assist with volunteer time tracking, data collection and entry.
• Attend relevant community partnering meetings and partner events.
• Adhere to privacy regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and CCC policies.
