Job summary

Central City Concern in Portland, OR is seeking a Community Service Liaison who connects clients with community partners and volunteer opportunities across the Portland metro area. You will lead client volunteer teams and help build pathways for growth and engagement within CCC's outpatient treatment and housing programs.

This role blends hands-on leadership with relationship building, offering coaching and support to help clients gain confidence, skills, and community connections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals in recovery.
• CCC Community Volunteer Corp program graduate preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work with individuals or groups.
• Must pass background check and driving record.
• Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of volunteers on pre‑determined projects.
• Provide constructive feedback to volunteers.
• Foster positive relationships with volunteers, partners and the community.
• Transport volunteers to worksites and maintain van.
• Provide program administrative support.
• Attend CCC meetings and trainings.
• Recruit and place volunteers.
• Ensure privacy and HIPAA compliance in duties.
• Support data collection and entry for program reporting.
• Attend partner meetings and community events.
