Job summary

Humane Pennsylvania, a national leader in animal welfare, is seeking the driver of its volunteer program and its primary special events. This role offers a creative leaning opportunity and long-term career growth within HPA, supporting lifesaving work.

The ideal candidate is an experienced event or volunteer professional, able to engage volunteers across diverse roles, with strong communication, organization, and timeline management skills.

Qualifications

• Previous volunteer management and/or charitable event oversight experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with own transportation.
• Experience with event planning and volunteer engagement is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, venue and vendor recruitment, event volunteer management, and event set-up and breakdown.
• Coordinate and support three primary events: Walk for the Animals, Art for Arf’s Sake Auction, and Pints for Pups.
• Engage volunteers across departments and travel between HPA locations as needed.
