Job summary

Valley Settlement seeks a Volunteer Coordinator to manage 30-40 volunteers across Parachute-to-Aspen elementary schools. This full-time role requires bilingual Spanish/English communication, planning orientation and PD sessions, enrollment, and data updates in the program tracking system.

The coordinator will travel between sites, build relationships with families, and support volunteers and staff during hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating volunteers or related field.
• Valid Colorado driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle with mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and facilitate volunteer orientation and professional development sessions.
• Coordinate volunteer-teacher matching and school agreements for each year.
• Recruit and enroll participants and maintain waitlists and data in the tracking system.
• Communicate between volunteers and school staff; visit sites weekly to provide guidance.
