Job summary

First Circuit CASA is hiring a Case Manager to support volunteers who advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. The role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to guide volunteers through challenging situations.

The position involves supervising CASA volunteers, preparing court reports, tracking case progress, attending hearings, and maintaining calendars and deadlines. Travel for visits and training is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, human services, criminal justice, or related field.
• Experience working with volunteers, children and families, courts, social services, or training preferred.
• Strong writing, communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and follow through on responsibilities.
• Ability to travel for case visits, hearings, and training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support assigned CASA volunteers and cases.
• Help volunteers prepare court reports, track case progress, and attend hearings.
• Maintain accurate case records, calendars, and deadlines.
• Coordinate volunteer continuing education and assist with new volunteer training.
• Write the monthly volunteer newsletter.
• Work closely with the Program Manager and Executive Director.
