Job summary

My Style Matters in Atlanta is seeking a purpose-driven Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and support community programs. You will work with leadership, partners, volunteers, and participants to ensure programs are well-organized, impactful, and responsive.

At My Style Matters, our Program Coordinator plays a vital role in bringing our mission to life by helping plan, coordinate, and support the successful implementation of our programs and community initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with the leadership team, community partners, facilitators, volunteers, and participants to ensure our programs are well-organized, impactful, and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.

You will help manage program logistics, track participant engagement and outcomes, support outreach and recruitment efforts, coordinate events and workshops, and help strengthen the systems and partnerships needed to grow our impact.

This is an ideal role for someone who is people-centered, highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about health equity, community engagement, and creating meaningful social impact.

Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Implementation
  • Coordinate the day-to-day implementation of My Style Matters’ programs, workshops, support groups, outreach events, and special initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain program timelines, workplans, checklists, and calendars to ensure activities are delivered on time and with excellence.
  • Support the planning, logistics, and execution of in-person, virtual, and hybrid programming.
  • Ensure facilitators, speakers, volunteers, and partners have the materials, resources, and communication needed prior to each event or program.
  • Troubleshoot day-of program needs and help ensure a positive participant experience.
Data Collection, Evaluation & Reporting
  • Track program metrics including enrollment, attendance, completion, referrals, outcomes, and participant feedback.
  • Maintain accurate participant records and documentation within organizational systems.
  • Assist with surveys, assessments, testimonials, and data collection needed for grant reporting and program evaluation.
  • Support the preparation of monthly dashboards, impact reports, and funder reports.
Participant Engagement & Case Flow Suppor
  • Support participant recruitment, enrollment, onboarding, and follow-up for programs such as HER Support, health education workshops, and wellness initiatives.
  • Monitor participant attendance, engagement, and retention, identifying opportunities to improve participation and completion.
  • Assist with participant communications including reminders, check-ins, resource sharing, and post-program follow-up.
  • Help ensure participants are connected to appropriate resources, referrals, and support services.
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Maintain organized digital files, program documents, templates, and communication records.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notes, follow-up action items, and internal updates.
  • Assist leadership with grant deliverables, sponsorship activations, and partner communications.
  • Help improve systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures as the organization grows.
Communications & Storytelling Support
  • Collect participant stories, photos, testimonials, and impact highlights (with proper consent).
  • Work with the communications team to promote upcoming programs and share community impact.
  • Assist with newsletters, event reminders, social media content requests, and partner communications.
Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor program challenges, participant barriers, and operational gaps, and bring forward solutions.
  • Participate in team meetings, strategic planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed on community needs, health equity trends, and best practices in community-based programming.
Mission-Driven Team Support
  • Participate in team meetings, strategic planning, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Bring forward solutions, ideas, and opportunities that strengthen our programs and deepen our community impact.
  • Support special projects and organizational initiatives as needed.
