Job summary

Feed My Starving Children in Libertyville, IL seeks an energetic part-time engager to inspire volunteers during food packing sessions and strengthen donor relationships through storytelling and hospitality.

You will greet volunteers, share the FMSC mission, and encourage ongoing involvement. The role includes leading prayers, coordinating session activities, and ensuring a clean, safe facility while supporting site leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of public/motivational speaking experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to engage large groups.

Responsibilities

• Engage volunteers during food packing sessions to inspire involvement.
• Share FMSC's story and provide hospitality to enhance engagement.
• Invite volunteers to invest their time, funds, and prayers.
• Lead a Christian prayer over packaged food.
• Develop session plans with milestones and stories with site leadership.
• Provide end-of-session updates to leadership.
• Handle transactions on a cash register.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
