Job summary

Feeding Tampa Bay is seeking a Coordinator, Volunteer Engagement to lead in-person volunteer activities at the Causeway Center. You will manage check-ins, attendance, and logistics for varied volunteer groups, including court-mandated hours, while supporting disaster relief efforts.

The role requires strong communication, public speaking, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position with some evening support as needed.

Qualifications

• Public speaking ability for small and large groups.
• Experience managing volunteers and data entry.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee volunteer lounge and check-ins while maintaining safety.
• Manage volunteer inbox and phone calls with 24-48 hr response time.
• Track attendance and record in HandsOn Connect within 24 hours.
• Coordinate weekly groups and update group sizes; recruit volunteers for low-attendance shifts.
• Represent organization at community events and support distribution & experience teams.
