Feeding Tampa Bay is seeking a Coordinator of Volunteer Engagement to lead in-person volunteer activities at the Causeway Center. The role requires engaging with individuals, corporate groups, and court-mandated volunteers, with a focus on logistics, attendance tracking, and shift coordination.

The ideal candidate is organized, a proactive communicator, comfortable speaking publicly, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting disaster relief and community programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage and manage volunteers across diverse groups.
• Experience coordinating large group events and logistics.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee volunteer lounge and on-site operations and staff coordination.
• Manage volunteer check-ins, orientations, safety compliance, and lounge cleanliness.
• Monitor volunteer attendance and update HandsOn Connect within 24 hours.
• Coordinate with staff leads for timely shift assignments and respond to inquiries.
• Recruit volunteers through outreach and maintain positive volunteer relations.
