Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to share gospel-centered instruction with both churched and unchurched public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church, communicates well, and shows genuine care and perceptiveness in teaching children.

Responsibilities include completing required training, delivering LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, maintaining records, and representing LifeWise in the community

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the What We Believe section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training; participate in the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and praying for them regularly.
• Cultivate an organized, encouraging and engaging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Apply LifeWise policies, procedures and resources.
