FUNetix is a patented, science-based, and simplified method of teaching reading to children, available to parents and children worldwide. The FUNetix 12 Hour Reading App is accessible via the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore.

Founded in 2004, FUNetix utilizes an ancient methodology called "diacritics," developed over 2,000 years ago by the Greeks and adapted by Hebrew and Arabic languages, now applied to English to help children see the sounds in words and learn to read efficiently.

The mission of the American Youth Literacy Foundation, a volunteer 501(c)(3) organization established in 2008, is to eradicate illiteracy among children by promoting the use of the FUNetix app, which teaches any child to read in just 12 hours for free.

We seek motivated, compassionate volunteers to help us promote this innovative tool through community programs, distribute flyers, and organize events to raise awareness about the app and its benefits. Volunteers should be outgoing, responsible, and enthusiastic about helping children and families affected by illiteracy.

This role is ideal for individuals who are creative, community-minded, and eager to make a meaningful impact. Our organization is virtual, with a team of over 60 volunteers, and we encourage new ideas for outreach and engagement.
