Overview

FUNetix is a patented, science-based, and simplified method of teaching reading to children, available worldwide via the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore. It is rooted in ancient diacritic methodologies adapted for English, helping children map sounds to letters and decode words easily.

The American Youth Literacy Foundation, a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2008, aims to ensure all children learn to read by the end of 3rd grade through the deployment of the FUNetix app, which claims to teach children to read in just 12 hours of play.

Position Details

We are seeking a skilled UX/UI Team Member to join our team. The role involves participating in various projects such as developing the FUNetix ESL app, website refresh, new web app games, and other design initiatives. This volunteer position offers exposure to the full UX workflow—field research, ideation, prototyping, product launch, and optimization.
