Job summary

Hidden Villa in Los Altos Hills, CA, is seeking a Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator to oversee the volunteer program and drive ongoing community engagement throughout the year.

You will onboard volunteers, organize on-farm programs, coordinate with departments, and represent Hidden Villa at fairs and outreach events. This full-time, non-exempt role offers full benefits and some remote work.

Qualifications

• First-hand volunteer experience is preferred.
• Proven experience with community engagement such as tabling at events or providing customer service.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience scheduling, tracking metrics, reporting, and managing databases.
• Computer proficiency including email, document formatting and web-based applications; Google Workspace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard volunteers into the organization and connect them with departments for training.
• Facilitate volunteer groups (teen, group, corporate) with on-farm and garden activities.
• Maintain regular communications with volunteers about updates and opportunities.
• Collaborate across departments to plan enrichment activities and events for volunteers.
• Partner with colleges and nonprofits to create internships and volunteer opportunities.
• Represent Hidden Villa at volunteer fairs, farmers markets and community events.
