Mission Action, Inc. is seeking a full-time Volunteer & Community Engagement Specialist in San Francisco to build and sustain our Rapid Response Hotline volunteer framework.

The ideal candidate communicates well, coordinates volunteers, and supports training and community organizing, with fluency in Spanish preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, data management, and relationship building with volunteers and partner organizations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in communications, social sciences, nonprofit management, or a related field OR equivalent experience.

• Recruitment & Outreach for volunteers and partnerships.
• Onboarding & Training: develop orientation programs and materials, conduct trainings.
• Scheduling & Coordination: manage volunteer schedules and logistics.
• Volunteer Placement & Recognition: inform on developments and celebrate contributions.
• Data Management: maintain records and generate reports on hours and engagement.
