Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers safely to the LifeWise site. A mature, punctual candidate with a clean driving history and faith-aligned beliefs is required.

Responsibilities include maintaining bus safety, performing inspections, and guiding students. The role includes training, potential classroom volunteering, and strict adherence to LifeWise safety and testing protocols.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement required
• Statement of Faith alignment and church involvement
• Age 21–80 with annual CDL license validation if over 75
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or tickets in 5 years
• Pass background check, MVR, and FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Complete required drug/alcohol testing as mandated

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the site
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce rules
• Assist students with entering/exiting and monitor behavior
• Complete LifeWise training and participate in classroom activities if agreed
