Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in Arizona seeks a Benefits Program Specialist to guide local account teams in designing, implementing and enrolling insureds in voluntary benefits programs, ensuring successful adoption for Employee Benefits clients.

You will gather client needs for RFP/RFI processes, manage carrier quotes, present plan options and recommendations, and oversee the full implementation lifecycle including communications collateral, data interfaces, and carrier access for insureds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years insurance agency or company experience in employee benefits.
• Project management experience.
• Sales, marketing experience.
• Voluntary Benefits experience.
• Valid Insurance License within 90 Days.

Responsibilities

• Guides and supports local account teams in designing, implementing and enrolling insureds in voluntary benefits.
• Gathers client needs and insured population details for RFP/RFI processes.
• Prepares and submits RFP and RFI documents to carriers and reviews responses.
• Quotes voluntary benefits with carriers based on clients' benefits administration platform.
• Presents plan options and recommendations to clients.
• Manages full implementation lifecycle including communications collateral and data interfaces.
• Assists with post-implementation escalated service issues.
• Stays informed on latest trends in voluntary benefits.
• Pursues personal and career development.
• Maintains data integrity in the agency management system.
• Other duties as assigned.
