An established industry player is seeking a Voluntary Benefits Account Manager to support internal teams and manage multiple accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills, capable of collaborating across functions and delivering results. Position Summary: The Voluntary Benefits Account Manager role requires an organized, analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative self-starter with experience in a consulting/brokerage organization who can shift between several different projects as an overall support for internal team leaders and sales. The Voluntary Benefits Account Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of multiple accounts. The ideal candidate will be able to aid in streamlining the account management operations, processes and procedures including meeting agenda, notes, project plan and status templates. Additionally, this role will lead the creation of client facing reports, such as quarterly business reports and stewardship reports. This role may include attending prospect meetings in person or virtually and aiding in the sales to implementation phase. The Voluntary Benefits Account Manager role includes implementing the E1 captive model solution as well as understanding how the voluntary benefits work in the greater ecosystem of employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, project management or any other major with quantitative course work and/or 7+ years of relevant work experience in a consulting/brokerage, finance, or insurance setting. A strong background in Voluntary Benefits is a must.
Certificates and Licenses: Preferred but not required - PMP
Qualifications: Adaptability to be able to work within a fast-paced start-up environment, managing several deadlines from different internal teams simultaneously. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Openness to mastering HubSpot, Content Snare, and Smartsheet software tools.
