Job summary

BASIS Tucson North is seeking a Girls Middle School Volleyball Coach to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This is an auxiliary, part-time position and not a full-time role. Compensation is hourly and competitive, commensurate with education and experience.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma, coaching experience, and a demonstrated ability to teach volleyball skills to young athletes. BS degree preferred and Collegiate athlete experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma.
• BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamentals of volleyball to young athletes.
• Create and implement drills to build foundational skills.
• Coach students on sportsmanship and teamwork.
• Attend all games, practices or scrimmages.

Pay: BASIS Ed offers a competitive hourly pay for this position.

Required Qualifications

• HS diploma


• BS degree preferred


• Previous coaching experience


• Experience working with young athletes


• Ability to demonstrate volleyball skills effectively


• Experience in playing volleyball at a competitive level

Preferred Qualifications

• Collegiate student athlete experience

Responsibilities

• Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of volleyball starting from how to hit a ball properly


• Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills


• Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship


• Attending all games, practices or scrimmages
