Job summary

BASIS Ed in Scottsdale is seeking a Tennis Coach for the upcoming auxiliary program running from November 3, 2027 through February 27, 2027. This is not a full-time role; compensation is hourly and competitive.

Qualifications include a HS diploma (Bachelor's preferred), prior coaching experience, and demonstrated tennis skills. Experience with young athletes and competitive tennis is valued as you help students develop fundamentals and sportsmanship.

This is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position.

Pay: BASIS Ed offers a competitive hourly pay for this position.

Required Qualifications:

• HS diploma, Bachelor's preferred
• Previous coaching experience
• Experience working with young athletes
• Ability to demonstrate Tennis skills effectively
• Experience in playing Tennis at a competitive level

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of Tennis (starting from how to hit a ball properly)
• Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
• Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
• Attending all games, practices, or scrimmages
