Job summary

BASIS Tucson North is seeking qualified candidates to coach Girls Middle School Volleyball as part of an auxiliary program. This is a part-time, hourly position with competitive pay. The role focuses on teaching fundamentals and developing players’ skills, with attendance at games and practices expected.

Qualifications include a HS diploma (Bachelor's preferred), prior coaching experience, and a track record of working with young athletes. Collegiate athlete experience is a plus.

  • Attend all games, practices, or scrimmages.

BASIS Tucson North is seeking qualified candidates for Girls Middle School Volleyball Coach to join our bright, passionate team!

This is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position.

Pay: BASIS Ed offers a competitive hourly pay for this position.

Required Qualifications
  • HS diploma, Bachelor's preferred
  • Previous coaching experience
  • Experience working with young athletes
  • Ability to demonstrate volleyball skills effectively
  • Experience in playing volleyball at a competitive level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Collegiate student-athlete experience
Responsibilities
  • Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of volleyball (starting from how to hit a ball properly)
  • Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
  • Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
  • Attending all games, practices, or scrimmages
