Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking Volleyball Coaches to join our team in Havertown, PA. Our mission is to positively impact the community through athletics, helping children reach their potential in a fun and engaging environment.

As a coach, you'll run instruction, teach skills according to YMCA curriculum, and maintain a positive atmosphere. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to be part of a dedicated team focused on community engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Ability to work mornings, nights, and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum for volleyball.
• Provide a safe environment that allows members and participants to learn.
• Lead classes with positivity and enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to all participants.

Requirements for This Job

• Minimum 16 years of age
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area – volleyball!
• Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention
• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability

• Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
