Job summary

Riverside Metro Auto Group – Volkswagen is seeking an experienced Volkswagen Warranty Administrator to manage and submit warranty claims accurately and on time. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and collaboration with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts personnel, and Service Management in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The ideal candidate will have VW warranty experience or general dealership warranty background and be proficient with dealership

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership warranty administration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturer warranty claim procedures and dealership service operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to review repair orders and identify missing or incorrect documentation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit Volkswagen warranty claims accurately and within required timelines.
• Review repair orders for proper documentation, technician notes, labor operations, parts, and required authorization.
• Ensure warranty claims comply with Volkswagen policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Monitor submitted claims and promptly address rejected, returned, or unpaid claims.
• Process warranty claim corrections, adjustments, and resubmissions as needed.
• Maintain accurate warranty records and supporting documentation.
• Track warranty receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assist with warranty audits and maintain documentation necessary for audit compliance.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts personnel, and Service Management to resolve warranty-related issues.
• Stay current on Volkswagen warranty policies, bulletins, recalls, campaigns, and procedural updates.
• Identify documentation or process issues and communicate necessary corrections to the appropriate team members.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
