Capistrano Auto in San Juan Capistrano, CA, is hiring a Billing Specialist & Warranty Administrator to book and submit accurate warranty claims, bill repairs, and code orders. You will collaborate with advisors, technicians, parts, and management to ensure claims are accepted and paid.

Starting pay is $25-$30/hr based on experience, with opportunities to grow. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer contributions, paid vacation and holidays, on-the-job

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in warranty claims and billing.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a busy shop environment.
• Team-oriented attitude and collaboration with advisors, technicians, parts, and management.
• Experience with billing, coding, and warranty submission processes is preferred.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Review warranty repair orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Book warranty labor, parts, and sublet charges to the correct repair order.
• Verify labor codes, times, and parts against manufacturer guidelines.
• Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims and resolve corrections and chargebacks.
• Confirm technician documentation supports each claim and bill/code accordingly.
• Audit aging claims and reconcile warranty payments.
• Report suspected improper claim activity to management.
• Submit all warranty claims to manufacturer and verify full payment.
• Manage warranty schedule.

The Billing Specialist & Warranty Administrator books and submits accurate warranty claims and bills and codes repair orders. You'll work closely with advisors, technicians, parts, and management to keep claims accepted and paid.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Biller or Warranty Admin required (does not have to be automotive specific)
• Basic accounting knowledge, with experience in billing or reconciliation a plus
• Basic automotive knowledge preferred
• General computer skills, including spreadsheets
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn manufacturer warranty policies and systems
• Team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen
