Job summary

META Solutions is seeking a VoIP Technician in Ohio to install, update, and support unified communications services for META customers. You will troubleshoot, document, and train customer staff, ensuring reliable 911-related VoIP operations and smooth service delivery.

The role requires an associate degree in IT or related field, VoIP and WAN/LAN knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Expect on-site work with coordination across META teams and customers.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with VoIP systems.
Knowledge of WAN/LAN networks and infrastructure.
Valid driver's license is required.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

Update, install, and configure VoIP systems and related hardware.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot issues.
Support 911-related VoIP services used by META customers.
Coordinate with META teams to deliver unified communications.
Train customer staff on using the META unified communications system.
Monitor helpdesk for issue acknowledgement and resolution.
