Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Telecommunication Specialist to oversee day-to-day telecom operations across multiple campuses and clinics. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining VoIP, TDM, voicemail, and related systems, with emphasis on reliability and scalable voice services.

The position requires a BS in computer science (or equivalent) and at least five years of experience in telecom/IT networks, plus RingCentral experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in computer science with 5+ years in telecommunications and IT network systems.
• RingCentral experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage moves, adds and changes for telecom systems.
• Handle daily ServiceNow tickets for clinical and administrative staff.
• Assist in voice infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations and new site deployments.
• Back up systems and document call flows, dial plans, QoS configurations.
• Mentor junior analysts and coordinate with external vendors on complex voice projects.
• Ensure voice services are secure, scalable and integrated across the enterprise.
