Digital Guru in Fergus Falls, MN is seeking a VOIP/Telecom Project Technician to lead end-to-end telecom projects and provide Tier 2 IT support in a hybrid role. You’ll deploy VOIP, manage migrations, and troubleshoot across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments.

The role emphasizes project ownership, coordination with carriers and vendors, and delivering secure, reliable telecom solutions for clients while maintaining strong customer support and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on deployment or migration experience with VOIP, SIP trunking, or PBX platforms.
• Ability to manage technical telecom projects: timelines, vendor coordination, and client communication.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Azure, Windows Server, Intune).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support VOIP deployment and migration projects from planning through go-live, including site cutovers and onboarding.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VOIP platforms, SIP trunking, and PBX systems.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Design and document telecom infrastructure and call-flow solutions tailored to client needs.
• Serve as the technical resource for VOIP and telecom issues across clients.
• Manage project timelines, client communication, and post-implementation support.
