Qualifications

• Hands-on experience testing VoIP systems.
• Experience performing voice-channel performance testing, not solely functional VoIP testing.
• Experience testing and analyzing voice-quality characteristics such as noise, crosstalk, frequency response, distortion, balance, gain, return loss, tone handling, and speech quality.
• Strong understanding of VoIP and telecommunications fundamentals.
• Experience developing and executing formal test procedures.
• Experience using test equipment and/or software tools to capture, measure, and analyze voice performance.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to clearly document quantitative test results and technical findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and document detailed performance test procedures for VoIP and voice systems.
• Perform hands-on testing of voice channels, interfaces, and network components.
• Capture and analyze voice and network performance data.
• Document defects with detailed test conditions, measurements, logs, and steps.
• Produce clear test reports documenting methodology and results.
