ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THE ROLE

Medix is currently seeking a VoIP Phone / Telecom Technician for an exciting contract opportunity with one of our healthcare clients in the Milwaukee area! Our client is a large health system, going through a VoIP refresh, and implementing next-generation enterprise IP equipment. This Technician will be assisting in area cabling and unboxing / setting up new Alcatel 500 Enterprise DeskPhones at two main sites in Milwaukee.

Please note that this role is onsite Monday - Friday in West Allis, WI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in a hospital setting
• Unbox and deploy new VoIP phones
• Connect phones to network switches
• Run and connect area cabling
• Test and validate connections
• Manage clean and efficient cabling in closets and data centers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience setting up VoIP phones
• Ethernet cabling experience
• Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This role requires physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and navigate cabling.
