Qualifications

• Experience with telecommunications services and trends in a telecom environment.
• Experience administering VoIP/Avaya phone systems.
• Current DoD 8140 certifications such as CompTIA Security+.
• National Security background investigation with Secret level.

Responsibilities

• Perform system management, configuration administration, and maintenance for base communications systems.
• Manage voice switching configurations, trunking, and number reclamation.
• Maintain master listings of telephone numbers and hardware mappings.
• Document and audit database configurations, circuit paths and user profiles.
• Manage VoIP devices and software upgrades, including patches and firmware changes.
• Troubleshoot REMEDY tickets and resolve voice delivery issues.
• Interface with host/remote switches, IP Media, IP System Interfaces, and CLAN cards.
