Job summary

Bandwidth is seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate highly scalable voice services on our global network. You will own your code end-to-end—from design through production monitoring—and apply AI responsibly to enhance value and security across distributed systems.

You will collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable communications platforms, leveraging Java, C#, or Go, with a strong emphasis on REST, HTTP, and modern testing

Qualifications

• 2+ years designing web services and service-oriented architectures in Java, C#, or Go
• Hands-on experience with AI
• Understanding of IP networking, HTTP, and REST
• Experience with test automation patterns and frameworks
• Familiar with relational and non-relational databases
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• A 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solutions from start to finish, collaborating across teams to iteratively ship value
• Work with a team of software engineers with experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems
• Collaborate closely with product owners to create solutions that deliver the power to communicate
