Serv-U-Success in Grand Rapids is seeking an Order Selector to accurately pick products from bin locations using an automated voice-pick system for distribution to Meijer stores across the region. The role operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires focus, teamwork, and reliability.

You will handle palletizing, labeling, and moving goods with powered equipment, ensuring orders are complete and ready for shipment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse picking/order selection experience preferred.
• Interpersonal communication proficiency to communicate issues with managers and team members.
• Professional demeanor in both action and appearance.
• Thoroughness and accuracy in following verbal instruction.
• Time management to maximize productivity.
• Ability to read and match numbers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products from bin locations using an automated voice-pick system for streamlined operations.
• Carefully place picked products on pallets to avoid damage and ensure precision in every order.
• Operate powered hand jacks to efficiently transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Properly label and securely wrap outbound pallets for safe and accurate shipment.
• Break down palletized loads quickly and efficiently for easy handling and storage.
• Promptly notify the shift supervisor of any discrepancies between ordered products and what’s stored in the bins.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment with consistent attention to detail.
• Regularly tidy your work area by picking up pallets, plastic, cardboard, and scrap wood, ensuring everything is placed in designated areas.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the team.
