Serv-U-Success in Grand Rapids is seeking an Order Selector to pick products from bin locations using an automated voice-pick system for distribution to Meijer stores in the region. The role runs 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

or longer until orders are completed, with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday work days and Thu/Sun off. Pay is $19 per hour. The position involves operating powered hand jacks, labeling and wrapping pallets, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse picking/order selection experience preferred.
• Interpersonal communication proficiency to communicate issues with managers and team.
• Professional demeanor in action and appearance.
• Thoroughness and accuracy in following verbal instruction.
• Time management to maximize productivity.
• Ability to read and match numbers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products from bin locations using an automated voice-pick system for streamlined operations.
• Carefully place picked products on pallets to avoid damage and ensure precision in every order.
• Operate powered hand jacks to efficiently transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Properly label and securely wrap outbound pallets for safe and accurate shipment.
• Break down palletized loads quickly and efficiently for easy handling and storage.
• Promptly notify the shift supervisor of discrepancies between ordered products and storage.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment with consistent attention to detail.
• Regularly tidy your work area by picking up pallets, plastic, cardboard, and scrap wood.
