Qualifications

• 5+ years shaping voice user interfaces (VUI) or related systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Design, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Fluency with prompt engineering and how prompts affect model outputs.
• Working knowledge of TTS controls and prosody standards.
• Strong portfolio highlighting voice systems and persona standards.
• Excellent ear for dialogue and character consistency.

Responsibilities

• Own the persona: define global voice, character, and consistency.
• Set voice palette, prosody, and house standards for brand experiences.
• Define the quality bar and tie persona decisions to metrics like resolution.
• Design behavior with prompts and orchestration rather than code.
• Own handoff patterns and preserve context when switching to humans.
• Design for emotional states and high-stakes moments.
