Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. seeks a Voice Engineer II to support the design, migration and operation of enterprise voice and unified communications.

You will drive migrations from legacy PBX/TDM to Microsoft Teams Voice and SIP-based platforms, delivering reliable voice services across the organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Teams Voice, Direct Routing, AudioCodes SBCs and gateways, CUCM and SIP technologies, and will create call flows, runbooks and documentation to support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of enterprise voice engineering experience.
Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice and Direct Routing.
Experience administering Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
Experience with AudioCodes SBCs and media gateways.
Experience with PBX, TDM, PRI, analog, or SIP-based migrations.

Responsibilities

Support migrations from legacy PBX, TDM, PRI and analog telephony to Microsoft Teams Voice and SIP-based services.
Implement approved voice designs, migration plans, technology upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
Develop and maintain high-level/low-level designs, call flow diagrams, and operational documentation.
Configure and support Microsoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing, dial plans, voice routing policies, Auto Attendants, Call Queues and emergency calling policies.
Administer AudioCodes SBCs/gateways and ensure reliable voice services.
Assist with E911 deployments, call quality issues, and interoperability between Teams, CUCM, and carriers.
