Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia seeks an experienced Career Services Trainer to deliver skills training and vocational services aligned with program goals. The role includes recruiting eligible participants for funding and developing community work experiences with employer-paid wages.

The position stresses high-quality, individualized services, supervision and training of personnel, and maintaining compliant documentation and partnerships with counselors and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in related field preferred or a combination of education, trade or teaching experience and/or providing instruction in the specific trade will be considered.
• Three (3) years' work experience in related field.
• Previous experience providing training in the specific skill area.
• Strong communication, training and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of designated trade and occupational field, current industry trends and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training and vocational services.
• Recruit participants qualified and eligible for funding.
• Assist to develop community work experience and training sites, with employer-paid training wages.
• Submit recommendations for equipment, tools, curriculum updates and necessary materials.
• Ensure that highest quality, individualized services are delivered to program participants.
