Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia seeks a dedicated Case Manager to provide case management, vocational guidance, advocacy, training and supervision to individuals facing barriers to employment. The role supports Goodwill’s mission and Career Services, partnering with community resources to help participants achieve employment success.

You will recruit participants, deliver targeted counseling and life skills training, and maintain program documentation to ensure quality services and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in vocationally related field and 2+ years of experience in counseling linking with community resources, special education or vocational instruction.
• Master’s Degree in rehabilitation counseling or a counseling related field is required.
• Note: In the absence of a higher education degree, you will work under the direct, on-site supervision of someone with a master’s or bachelor’s degree as listed above.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management, vocational guidance, advocacy, training and supervision to persons with barriers to employment.
• Recruit eligible participants for funding to sustain programs.
• Deliver individualized vocational counseling and guidance; teach life skills and employment-related curricula.
• Prepare reports and summaries for funding and regulatory sources.
• Maintain participant case files and ensure confidentiality and safety.
