Job summary

Merakey is seeking an Employment Training Specialist in Philadelphia, PA. This PRN position supports adults with serious mental illness to secure and maintain competitive employment in the community, providing vocational education, assessment, and on-site training.

You will assess consumer skills and preferences, arrange suitable community employment, and follow up with both consumer and employer. Requirements include a high school diploma, IDD experience, ACRES certification within 6 months,

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with IDD.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• ACRES certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess consumers' skills and preferences and secure appropriate community employment.
• Provide on-site training and follow-up supports for consumers and employers.
• Coordinate with employers and service teams to maintain successful placements.
