Merakey is hiring an Employment Training Specialist in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on vocational education, assessment, and liaison to help adults with serious mental illness secure and maintain competitive employment in the community.

Responsibilities include assessing Consumer skills and preferences, coordinating job placements, and delivering on-site training with ongoing follow-up support. The position offers a PRN, flexible schedule with hours under 30 per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with IDD population.
• Must obtain ACRES certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support competitive employment as a primary outcome for Consumers.
• Provide vocational education, assessment, support and liaison services for adults with serious mental illness.
• Secure compatible employment within the community and provide on-site training.
• Provide follow-up supports and services for Consumers and employers.
