Job summary

Merakey is seeking an Employment Training Specialist in West Chester, PA. The role focuses on supporting adults with serious mental illness to obtain and sustain competitive employment in the community.

The ETS will assess skills, arrange suitable placements, provide on-site training, and follow-up supports for Consumers and employers, reporting to the Supported Employment Manager. Schedule PRN with compensation of $20/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with IDD population.
• ACRES certification within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support competitive employment for Consumers through vocational education, assessment, and liaison services.
• Assess Consumers' skills and interests to secure suitable community employment.
• Provide on-site training and follow-up supports for Consumers and employers.
