Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare in Marshalltown, IA seeks an Employment (Vocational) Support Specialist to help adults with serious mental illness explore interests, build job skills, and pursue employment goals within the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) framework.

You will partner with community employers, coach individuals, and provide ongoing support while upholding HIPAA and agency standards. This is a community-based, client-centered role with regular on-call rotation.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Human Service with 1 year of practical experience OR Bachelor's degree in Human Service with 3 years of related field experience.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Travel is required as this is a community-based job position.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends if necessary.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication and documentation requirements.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Engage patients in job skill development and conduct interests and skills assessments.
• Work with community partners on job development and placement options.
• Engage in job coaching and counseling with ACT Team members.
• Facilitate support groups and provide direct follow-up support.
• Participate in ACT Team consultation meetings and on-call rotation.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and CARF policies.
