Job summary
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Vocational Specialist to provide work-related services, including Vocational Assessment Plans and Individual Employment Plans, and to assist patients with job readiness training and skills-building.
You will work with the treatment team to address employment concerns, support recovery, and help patients achieve meaningful, integrated employment within Arizona's behavioral health system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associates degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the behavioral health or substance abuse field.
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders.
- Level 1 fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing).
- Peer Certified or able to become Peer Certified within 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide work-related services including Vocational Assessment Plans.
- Develop Individual Employment Plans for patients.
- Assist patients with job readiness training and skills building.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to address employment concerns.

CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.
The Vocational Specialist provides work related services, including Vocational Assessment Plans, Individual Employment Plans, and assists patients with job readiness training, and skills building. This position assists in addressing all of the employment concerns and needs of the patient along with other members of the treatment team.
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the behavioral health or substance abuse field required.
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.
- Level 1 fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing).
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
- Peer Certified or able to become Peer Certified within 90 days of employment.
