Job summary
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking an Employment Specialist in Arizona to support patients with rehabilitation services and employment-related needs.
The role focuses on vocational evaluation, job readiness training, skills building, and job placement referrals as part of the treatment team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in behavioral health or medical settings, and a valid AZ driver's license with a clean 39-month MVR.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in behavioral health or medical field preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in either the behavioral health or medical field.
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record; valid AZ Driver’s License in good standing; BHT certification per policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide vocational evaluation and assessment as part of rehabilitation services.
- Deliver job readiness training and skills-building support; assist with job placement referrals.
- Collaborate with treatment team to address employment concerns and patient needs.

An Employment Specialist is an individual who has one year of experience providing rehabilitation services and employment‑related support. Employment Specialist provides work related services, including vocational evaluation and assessment, job readiness training, skills building, and job placement referrals. This position assists in addressing all of the employment concerns and needs of the patient in conjunction with the established treatment team.
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in behavioral health or medical field preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in either the behavioral health or medical field required.
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
- Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing)
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
