Job summary

Menchey Music's Reading studio seeks an enthusiastic vocal instructor to teach private lessons, nurture confidence, and foster musical growth in students of all ages.

You'll work a flexible schedule with weeknights and Saturdays, supported by a professional studio team, marketing enrollment systems, and on-site coordination. A background in music education and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of college-level music training or 5 years of teaching/professional performance experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred; candidates currently working toward a degree are encouraged to apply
• Experience working with learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred
• Ability to successfully complete an initial background check, and recurring background checks every three years as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, private vocal lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create a positive, encouraging, and educational lesson environment
• Help students grow musically, prepare for recitals, and participate in performance opportunities
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff
• Keep accurate attendance and lesson records using our digital scheduling system
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm every day
