Job summary

Menchey School of Music, part of Menchey Music Service, seeks a passionate vocal instructor for our Hanover studio. Join a music-centered community that values education and builds strong student relationships through engaging, personalized private lessons.

You will teach students of various ages, foster confidence, and help them prepare for recitals in a supportive studio environment with on-site coordination and marketing support.

Qualifications

• Two years college-level music training, five years teaching or performance experience, or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates pursuing a degree are encouraged to apply
• Experience with learners of all ages and skill levels preferred
• Ability to pass initial and recurring background checks every three years

Responsibilities

• Teach private voice lessons to students of varying ages and levels
• Create a positive, encouraging, and educational lesson environment
• Help students grow musically and prepare for recitals
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff
• Maintain attendance and lesson records using a digital scheduling system
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm daily
