Stanbridge University seeks an experienced Program Director to lead the Vocational Nursing program, ensuring academic excellence and regulatory compliance. You will drive curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and student success metrics across retention, completion, and licensure outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license in CA in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree from BVNPT-approved school required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum four years RN experience; teaching/clinical supervision experience preferred.
• Leadership experience in nursing education or administration.
• Coursework in administration, teaching, and curriculum development.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to student success and program improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of the VN program.
• Ensure BVNPT and accrediting compliance and site visit readiness.
• Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate program faculty.
• Lead curriculum design, updates, and assessment aligned with standards.
• Monitor retention, completion, and licensure pass rates; drive improvements.
• Ensure quality clinical placements with clinical partners.
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Prepare reports for BVNPT and accrediting bodies.
• Represent the program with professional communities and partners.
