Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking an Assistant Program Director for the VN Program to support the Campus Program Director in Irvine, CA. You will assist with planning, managing, and evaluating the nursing program, ensuring compliance with state and BRN requirements, and coordinating clinical rotations.

The role requires leadership experience in nursing education, strong communication skills, and the ability to teach either theory or clinical components.

Qualifications

• Masters or higher in nursing, education, or administration
• Minimum 3 years leading a nursing program
• Minimum 3 years as full-time nursing program faculty
• Minimum 1 year online teaching experience
• At least 4 years direct patient care RN experience in geriatrics/medical-surgical/psychiatric/OB/pediatrics (past 5 years)
• Current California BRN license with active status

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with planning, developing, managing, updating and evaluating all aspects of the program
• Prepare data and written materials for state/Board requirements, reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and site visits
• Identify and obtain outside resources for the nursing program
• Ensure timely clinical rotations and evaluations by faculty
• Maintain student records and program reports
• Support strategic planning and instructional initiatives to improve quality of instruction
• Provide advising support and assist potential students
• Teach theory or clinical components as needed
• Other duties as assigned
