Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks an Assistant Program Director – VN Program to support the Vocational Nursing Program under the Campus Program Director.

The role includes planning, evaluating, and coordinating clinical rotations, data preparation for state requirements, and advising potential students. The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree or higher and a California BRN license, with hands-on nursing leadership and online teaching experience.

Qualifications

• A master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university (nursing, education, or administration).
• A minimum of three (3) years experience leading a nursing program.
• A minimum of three (3) years experience as a full-time faculty in pre- or post-licensure nursing program.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience teaching online.
• A minimum four (4) year of continuous full-time experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care within the past five years.
• Must hold a valid California BRN license.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director with planning, developing, managing, updating and evaluating all aspects of the program.
• Assist with preparing data and materials for state requirements, reports, surveys, and site visits.
• Assist with identifying resources for the nursing program.
• Ensure clinical rotations and evaluations are completed on time by faculty.
• Maintain student and site evaluations and records.
• Provide advising support and planning assistance to students.
