Job summary

Kyndryl is hiring a role focused on advanced VMware and enterprise IT infrastructure. You will analyze complex issues across servers, networks, cloud environments, and systems, diagnose root causes, and design end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions.

You will balance priorities, automate workflows, and document architectures for smooth handoffs. The position emphasizes hands‑on delivery, with opportunities to grow into Architect or Distinguished Engineer paths.

Qualifications

Deep expertise within VMware technology areas (e.g., cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
Hands-on experience in at least one of: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain.
In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating System.
VMware system administrator SME’s with VMware Infrastructure, VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator, VMware Aria Operations for Applications, VMware NSX, NSX‑T Data Center, VMware Server, VMware vSAN.

Responsibilities

Analyze and Solve complex issues across servers, networks, cloud environments and systems to identify root causes.
Diagnose complex issues and recommend solutions balancing technical feasibility, timelines and customer priorities.
Test, refine and automate processes to improve reliability, efficiency and repeatability.
Document architectures and procedures for hand-offs, knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
Collaborate with Architects, Project Managers and Technicians to drive project delivery from initiation to completion.
